MEME RHEE Psy.D, LMFTClinical Supervisor

Meme Rhee brings to Launch Centers a vast array of experience and training. A first-generation Korean American, born in Virginia, Meme’s early beginnings as a Martial Artist naturally inspired her interest and studies in Somatic Psychology which intimately examines the relationship between mind and body. She received a B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.A. in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and a Psy. D. in Psychoanalysis from the Psychoanalytic Center of California. Her extensive clinical training at Haight Ashbury Psychological Services, BHC Alhambra Psychiatric Hospital, Clearview and Evolve Treatment Centers deepened and expanded her experience in treating many different populations. Amidst her studies and along life’s journey, Meme was Martial Arts competitor, an English teacher in rural China, a Rotary Scholar of Japanese literature at Tokyo University, a work-study participant at the Center for Immigration Policy and Refugee Assistance in Beijing, and a corporate executive with Bigfoot Ventures – a top-tier venture capitalist firm. Her colorful, eclectic, and sometimes challenging life journey led her to discover her deeper purpose to help others find understanding, meaning, and freedom.
